Before its official opening, many steps had been taken to establish the ski hill. Construction had begun in the fall of 1968 following a fundraising campaign in the community. At that time, the trails, lift and lodge had begun to take shape. When Mont Farlagne opened it had four trails: Family, Rice, Casse-Cou and Fraser. The latter was the only one lit for night skiing. http://montfarlagne.com/
